Anxiety is Fear...



Fear is a state of being experienced as an existential threat. Giving into the fear accelerates feelings of helplessness and doom. Stepping into the fear requires asking oneself what exactly feels so threatening, and then reminding oneself that there is a choice involved in fear. Perhaps dialogue with the inner demon that creates the fear can help..."What do you want from me fear?" "What would you like to teach me about myself?" "What would you like for me to know about myself that I cannot see?" Shadow boxing the inner demon through questions may help unlock the answers to the experience, leading to a deeper connection within.
